Worcester Sharks Kicks Off 2011

As we get ready for the Worcester Sharks 2011 -2012 season the organization is giving away prizes leading up to opening night.  In what they are calling Sharktober the team is giving away a prize daily for those who follow them on Twitter and Facebook.  As is usually the case they will follow up with free T-shirts for the first 2500 fans on their opening night October 15th.

Hockey has always been popular in the Central Mass area and the Boston Bruins winning the Stanley Cup this past season will only make it more so.  Worcester Sharks hockey provides some local hockey entertainment at more reasonable prices over at the DCU center (some tickets are as low as $10).

The Worcester Sharks are also embracing the Social Media revolution by not only using Facebook and Twitter but also forming a Text Club so that you can receive Worcester Sharks information on your mobile phone.  Another way to keep up with the Worcester Sharks is via their YouTube Channel appropriately named SharksVision.
