Worcester Still Dealing With Pellet Guns

Worcester is again trying to come to terms with how to deal with pellet guns. On Monday a WRTA bus filled with passengers was hit by fire from what appears to be a pellet gun. As being reported on News Center 5, NECN, The Worcester Telegram and various other news outlets this seems to be connected to other incidents in the Worcester Area.
A Ford Taurus was apparently hit and Compare Foods had the front of their store hit as well. The Worcester police are still investigating so be very cautious when driving in that area of Main Street. This appears to be something done by kids who don’t realize how dangerous something like this could be. An elderly man was taken to the hospital because of the broken glass on the bus.
Back in March 2008 there was an incident where the police shot Sean Driscoll after he was said to have shot at police with what turned out to be a pellet gun. Official at that time tried to crack down on the availability of pellet guns. Unfortunately it was not effective in stopping problems like these. The below video courtesy of NECN discusses the problem further.
