Worcester’s Hanover Theatre Bringing You Laughter
I would like to say you would be able to buy tickets to this weekend’s Jimmy Fallon performance at Worcester’s Hanover Theatre. Unfortunately it appears to be sold out unless you have some other connections. The Hanover Theatre has a seating capacity of 2300 so it isn’t a surprise that a Jimmy Fallon show would be sold out a couple of days before the event.
That being said you need to know that there are still tickets to the Carol Burnett show that will take place Thursday May 20th. Even though it is a Thursday show don’t be fooled it looks like around 75% of the tickets have been sold. Though Carol Burnett may be better known among the older crowd (I’m 44, I don’t think I’m that old). I can’t remember if my memories are more from reruns or not but she also had another show besides the original variety show that most people remember her for. Mama’s Family also had some pretty funny moments too though it lasted only a couple of years. Burnett is in the top 5 when it comes to shows that I have seen that can have me actually physically rolling on the floor with laughter. Of course the other comedienne would be Lucy Ball who was Burnett’s mentor. At age 77 we are lucky to have Burnett still performing.
You can buy tickets online at the Hanover Theatre website. Hurry they won’t be there much longer. As a preview I found a video from one of her Carol Burnett Variety shows for you.
